An Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor, also known as an ENT or an otolaryngologist (pronounced oh/toe/lair/in/goll/oh/jist) is a doctor that has special training in diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. ENT doctors receive training in both surgery and medicine, so you won’t need to be referred to another provider if surgery is required.
